Mitzi Dunagan, BSN, RN, LE, brings a unique combination of nursing expertise, advanced aesthetic training, and a genuine passion for helping patients feel confident in their own skin. As a Registered Nurse, Licensed Aesthetician, Senior Laser Practitioner, and Weight Loss Coordinator at Northeast Georgia Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Center of Gainesville, Mitzi believes the best results begin with education, trust, and an individualized approach to care.

With extensive training in laser and aesthetic technologies, Mitzi specializes in advanced skin rejuvenation and body contouring treatments, including BBL® HEROic™, MOXI®, SkinPen® microneedling, Morpheus8, CoolSculpting®, laser hair removal, chemical peels, PRX Derm Perfexion, DiamondGlow®, and customized medical-grade skincare. She especially enjoys developing comprehensive treatment plans that combine in-office procedures with an effective home skincare regimen to improve skin health and achieve natural, long-term results.

Mitzi also serves as the practice’s Weight Loss Coordinator, working closely with patients participating in the physician-supervised medical weight management program. She provides education, ongoing support, and individualized guidance throughout each patient’s journey, with an emphasis on helping patients create sustainable changes while feeling supported along the way.

Her philosophy is simple: aesthetic medicine should never be about changing who someone is. Instead, she believes in helping patients care for their skin and bodies in ways that allow them to look refreshed, healthy, and confident while still looking like themselves. She takes time to listen to each patient’s concerns, explain treatment options honestly, and create realistic plans based on their individual goals.
