Details: This patient consulted with one of our plastic surgeons unhappy with the amount of wrinkles on her face and neck. During the consult, this patient and our plastic surgeon had an in depth conversation about the available options: (1) necklift, (2) facelift, (3) facelift with fat transfer to the nasolabial folds. After weighing all of the different factors, this patient and our plastic surgeon decided to proceed with a facelift and necklift in the ambulatory surgery center of the Aesthetic Center of Gainesville.

FACELIFT / NECKLIFT

This patient came to see one of our plastic surgeons unhappy with the amount of wrinkles on her face and neck as well as the overall appearance of her face. She felt that her face had aged disproportionately to her calendar age. At the time of her consult, this patient suffered from lower lid herniation, mid face decent with jowling, and pronounced nasolabial folds. This patient had an in depth discussion with our surgeon about possible options to correct these issues. They both decided upon facelift and necklift surgery in the state licensed ambulatory surgery center of the Aesthetic Center of Gainesville. These surgcial procedures were completed in about (4) hours. This patient was then transported to the recovery room of the Aesthetic Center of Gainesville and stayed there with a Registered Nurse for about an hour. The anesthesia for this surgery was administered by a board certified anesthesiologist (a board certified anesthesiologist administers the anesthesia for all surgical procedures in the operating room of the Aesthetic Center of Gainesville). The patient was then safely released to go home and follow up with the plastic surgeon the next day. Postoperatively, this patient was very happy with her surgical result. Her face looked more youthful in appearance with less wrinkling. You can see the huge difference in her jowls with the postop photos.
