Details: This patient came to see one of the plastic surgeons with the Aesthetic Center of Gainesville unhappy with the appearance of her abdomen. She had tried to get rid of excess fat around the abdomen through diet and exercise, but was unable to do so. She presented these concerns to our plastic surgeon & decided to proceed with Liposuction surgery in the state-licensed ambulatory surgery center of the Aesthetic Center of Gainesville. Our plastic surgeon performed the liposuction on the patient's upper & lower abdomen. This procedure took about an hour and a half with a 45-50 minute recovery time in the recovery room of the AAAASF certified ambulatory surgery center of Gainesville Postoperatively, the patient was very happy with the contour and shape of her new abdomen. She was able to wear clothes that she had not fit into in years.
